Scrap Shredder

For over 90 years American Pulverizer Company has pioneered quality built, yard proven shredders.  Models range from those capable of accepting entire auto bodies, wheels, frames, water heaters, drums, etc. down to metal turnings of carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, copper, titanium, and other materials.  Capacities range from one to more than 50 tons per hour.

American engineers have contributed such important advances as the exclusive Rolling Ring Principle of crushing (the shredding ring), deflection type hopper, and the automatic apron for ejection of tramp metal.

Crushers and shredders designed by American are built to do a BIG JOB.  Their rugged, virtually indestructible construction and proven mechanical features have made them the standard throughout the industry.
