Reversible Hammermill

WDR Photo 1.JPG (16092 bytes)The AMERICAN WSR-22 Reversible Hammermill is used in high abrasion applications since it reduces primarily by impact.   These machines are designed for secondary and third stage crushing.   Reversibility provides up to double the life for hammers and impact blocks.   High feed drop designed for more wear savings on hammer faces.  These machines are available in designs for open circuit  or completely closed circuit systems.
Standard Features:
Hammers and impact plates are manganese steel castings.
Impact plates are reversible and interchangeable.
Machine is split horizontally at the centerline and upper housing is split vertically on both sides of the centerline so as to open either upper quadrant for quick and easy access to the liner plates or hammers.
Each of these housings are hinged at the horizontal centerline.
Bearings have a B-10 life far in excess of 40,000 hours, and they are spherical roller bearings.
Rotor shaft is a forged alloy steel, heat-treated for this high impact and abrasion application.
Breaker plates are sectionalized and reversible, as mentioned above, and the high strength bolts are hard faced and recessed below the wear surface to ensure maximum liner life.
Bearing pedestals are machined for proper mounting of the pillow blocks.
Impact plates are externally adjustable to compensate for wear.
