Series 800 Megohmer - Analog |
 These
low cost, compact megohmers offer exceptionally reliable
readings of electrical insulation resistance. They feature
taut band movement for years of trouble free service, even
under the most adverse conditions. Hand crank AC type
generators provide a rectified DC test potential. In
addition there are no brushes to wear out.
Easy-to-read scales are selectively expanded electronically
to assure accurate readings over the entire range of the
instrument. And the scales have a scale length of 3.75".
This is 42% longer than typical competitive testers.
Selected models have a live circuit indicator that indicates
the presence of any voltage present before the crank is
turned. Other models have fuse protected continuity ranges.
A variety of models are available with ranges for potential
up to 2,000 VDC and megohm ranges up to 5,000.
