lubrication. No danger of spindle freeze-up. Easy-to-read dial
permits very fine readings. Hands remain at reading until next test.

The Sticht 4400 Series Speed Indicators are high
precision speed indicators for the accurate measurement of revolutions per
minute or linear speeds in feet per minute. With a built-in timing
element operating over a fixed period of 3 seconds, this chronometric speed
indicator is especially suitable for accurate measurements of constant
speeds. Once the starting button is depressed, the indicator will
begin to register revolutions over the fixed period of 3 seconds. The
hands then stop and the reading may be taken from the dial at leisure.
The pointers remain in a fixed position until returned to zero by depressing
the reset button. The Sticht 4400
Series Speed Indicators may be used on either clockwise or counter-clockwise
rotating shafts and for measuring surface speeds. They are unaffected
by magnetic fields, ambient temperature or moderate vibration.
The instruments have a large, easy-to-read
dial, with black figures indicating revolutions per minute, and red figures
on the inner circle indicating feet per minute readings, without any
calculations.
Instruments are available in two models:
4402L for measuring speeds of 0-1000 RPM or 0-300 FPM and 4401H for speeds
of 0-10,000 RPM or 0-3,000 FPM. Both models come with a carrying case
that includes a surface wheel, pointed rubber tip and concave rubber tip. |
